vAibo — Privacy Policy

vAibo is an AI voice and text companion app developed by Oleg Ponomarev (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. By using vAibo you agree to it.

What we collect

• Account. When you sign in with Apple or Google we receive a stable user identifier and, if you allow it, your email (which may be an Apple private-relay address) and name.
• Conversation content. Your typed messages and, during voice conversations, audio from your microphone, the assistant’s audio reply, and short transcripts. Your selected language, communication style and the “About me” note you set are sent so the assistant can personalise replies.
• Usage & purchases. Your vaibes balance, credit history and in-app purchase records (Apple handles the payment itself — we never receive your card details).
• Technical. Basic app/device information and server logs needed to operate and secure the service.

We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

How we use your data

Only to operate the conversation: generate replies, transcribe speech, count vaibe usage, process purchases, and prevent abuse. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Who processes it

• OpenAI — generates replies and transcribes speech. Our AI partners do not use your content to train their models.
• Apple — Sign in with Apple and in-app payments.
• Google — Sign in with Google (if you choose it).

The current list of processors may change as we improve quality; material changes will be reflected here.

Retention

Conversation content is retained briefly for abuse monitoring and then deleted. Account and balance data are kept while your account exists.

Your choices

• You can sign out at any time — purchases and balance stay with your account.
• You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Account screen in the app, or by emailing us.

Children

vAibo is not directed to children under 17. Do not use the app if you are under the age required in your country to consent to data processing.
